On the July 4th 2020 Maureen and I paddled the Boat Lake looking for Eagles. It was a hot day of about 30 Celsius however there was a slight breeze that made it very comfortable.

We put in around 930 am and never quit till like 3pm. What a wonderful day. We found the Eagles nest and there was a couple of immature Eagles in the nest. They were almost fully grown and I am sure they could fly. But we didn’t see the parents so until the parents showed up we were entertained by the Black Terns.

The Black Terns were very disturbed at us. At first I thought their nest must have been close by, but now I am beginning to think that they are just mean birds.

Finally the Bald Eagle parent returned. After about an hour the Terns started attacking him. he was no where near the Terns nest high up in the tree where his nest was built.

This is why my conclusion is that they are the original Angry Bird..
